Balkrishna Ginning has its root from Manavadar. The founder and promoter Mr. Nathalal Keshavji Raichura of Balkrishna Ginning started its first Ginning Mill at Manavadar in 1985. It was his first step towards making Balkrishna Ginning a prominent and well-known establishment in the world of Cotton. Striving with perfection and quality consciousness, Balkrishna Ginning continued its production in Manavadar till 2000.

To make its dream come true, Balkrishna Ginning commissioned its modern and higher capacity plant in Rajkot in 2001. This was its second step to reach to the glory and new horizon. Earlier, Balkrishna Ginning had production capacity of about 15/20 tonne per day. And today it has reached to about 75 tonnes per day, and its ever increasing.

Balkrishna Ginning has very modern, totally automated and sophisticated Ginning mill. The process is set in such a way that at none of the stage water would touch cotton. This is for best quality and moisturizing free Cotton .Enthusiastic, dynamic and visionary directors Arvind, Girish and Dipak continue to make Balkrishna Ginning bigger and thriving towards perfection.

At present, Balkrishna Ginning is exporting about 30% of their total production. In near future, they aim it to be about 50%.

ISO certified and TMC approved Balkrishna Ginning produces Cotton with AAA+ quality. Its management has established the quality objective at relevant functional level within organization; the objectives that are consistent with the quality policy and are measured and deployed in the working with defined responsibility and total commitment.  Balkrishna Ginning plans to have De-linting plant by February 2009 with capacity of about 120 tonne per day. This will be first of its kind in Gujarat.
